The 办公室 平等的机会 & 第九条, in collaboration with University partners, works to build 和 maintain a safe, gender-equitable environment for students, faculty 和 staff in all aspects of educational programming 和 employment. We are responsible for ensuring compliance with the University's non-discrimination policies related to:

DU is committed to providing support 和 assistance to all members of our campus community who are impacted by gender-based discrimination, 骚扰, 和暴力, including sexual assault, relationship or dating violence, 和被人跟踪. DU is committed to developing best practices to respond to 和 prevent sexual assaults.
In order to carry out these responsibilities, the Office:
- Receives 和 reviews all reports of gender-based discrimination, 骚扰 和暴力 on campus;
- Keeps records of all reports to evaluate campus needs 和 to identify patterns that need to be addressed;
- Coordinates outreach to all identified impacted students, faculty 和 staff to provide:
- 资源 for emotional support 和 system advocacy;
- An overview of options for addressing the discrimination, 骚扰 or violence both on campus 和 off;
- Assistance with Supportive Measures to assist impacted parties when needed;
- Informal Resolution options for non-violent policy violations;
- Investigations of violations of University Policy related to gender-based discrimination, 骚扰 和暴力;
- Consultation, training 和 education for the campus community;
- Coordination of campus partner efforts to address gender-based discrimination, 骚扰 和暴力 和 to engage in prevention 和 education efforts.
- Assistance with campus climate survey efforts.
